PatientChoice offers a new approach to private medical insurance. Whenever you need a medical procedure or operation covered by our plans, our policies provide you with a budget of money to spend which is designed to cover the cost of your treatment at most private hospitals.

The Essential Hospital Treatment Plan is designed by doctors and covers you for over a thousand operations and medical procedures, including those with long waiting lists. Access Hospital Treatment Plan provides additional benefits to the Hospital Treatment Plan for consultations and scans.
Use the NHS and still claim
At PatientChoice we recognise that our policyholders may sometimes prefer to use the NHS for certain conditions. If you use the NHS you can still claim generous cash benefits, the choice is yours.

A private medical plan from PatientChoice will give you the freedom to choose the healthcare that suits you, money to pay for private hospital treatment or a cash payment should the treatment be carried out on the NHS, with the option for you to keep the difference between the cost of your private treatment and your payment from us.

With one of our private medical plans, you’ll be given a budget for any medical procedures to spend as you wish on treatment. PatientChoice can offer you a private medical plan if you’re aged between 18 and 80 and resident in the UK for at least half of each year. You can also cover your children with a PatientChoice private medical plan as soon as they’re aged one. PatientChoice offers the right private medical plan for business, individuals, couples and families. We offer a private medical plan for operations and procedures, as well as one which covers outpatient treatment and consultations.
